Right. Keep in mind that the D6 System is now open content (the aforementioned owner of WEG released it). And we get away with a lot as it is here because no one here is attempting to make money off of Star Wars without having the license to do so. Posting some game mechanics sprinkled with a little possibly IP like the words "Teräs Käsi" is no big deal. Like chesire said, as a community we do put the foot down for publically posting links to and discussing illegal downloads of offically published works.

Thanks for posting your martial arts system!

I still felt bad. I wanted to see if we could clear things up, but his messages didn't leave me with the impression that he wanted to communicate on the matter. He'd already made quite a few assumptions about our intentions and character.

Great work. School year is winding down for me once again so feel free to email me if you want some help again on some of those projects.

Looking through the Template Collection, is the Arrogant Noble supposed to be 3D+1 for Knowledge? The scan just says "D+1"

2nd R&E, which is where that scan is from, says 3D+1. If you look, the other templates don't have the attributes ratings scanned, their too clean compared to that D+1. Especially in the original Volume 1 rather than the R&E of Template Collection. Look at the writing of the attributes themselves, Dexterity and Mechanical both fit the apperance of the D+1 whereas the others are a bit cleaner which suggest the original scanned writing was decided to be harder to read so the folks who originally did the Template collection was trying to make things a little easier to read and forgot to do the Knowledge attribute.

This one is for Gry Sarth,

with the advent of the new star wars mmorpg the Old Republic and it's use of several races that don't have any stats for them, is it likely you might come up with some for them and update your Alien Race Stat Book?

Not that I'm asking a lot!

I think some of the playable races in that game that don't have stats are: Mirialan, Rattataki, and Sith Pureblood - although somewhere on this site I think are some stats for the Rattataki.

I have a technical question for you guys regarding making PDF's. I have Microsoft Word 2010, and I know that there's an option to making the Word file a PDF file. That's not the problem. I make my Word file a two-column document, much like Gry Sarth's PDF conversions files are. I finish the document, and it's thirty pages long. Each page has the page number written in the right corner of the footer. I look at the document, and I decide to make the last two pages three columns rather than two. I make the adjustment. Here's where the problem comes in. The page number suddenly seems to reset for some reason. Here's the result

Page 28 - two columns - Page 28 in the footer
Page 29 - three columns - Page 1 in the footer
Page 30 - three columns - Page 2 in the footer

I've tried everything I could think of to resolve this, but I'm stumped. I'm hoping someone with experience with making PDF's will know what happened and tell me what I need to do in order to resolve thie issue.

I have very minimal experience in making PDFs (and not with Word 2010) so I can't help much. I would probably just go back to the last two pages being two columns each to prevent the footing numbering issue.

The new section (going from two columns to three colums) must have reset the page count to 0.

I just cheched, and in Word, you can double click on the footer p29 (where the page count appears), thant in the ribbon you should have the "Header and Footer" design tab selected.
Now, in the left of this ribbon, you should have a "page number" drop-down icon. Click of the bottom of this icon to unfold all the options and click "Page number format".
There you can specify if you wish to continue numbering from the previous section.
This should do the work Wink

As some of you may already know, grimace and myself have been working on a Choose your own Adventure style scenareo recently. With the writing stage of the project nearing completion, we are getting ready to start play testing.

What we are looking for is one or two people who would be willing to play test the adventure in search of spelling errors and/or mistakes.

If you are interested and are willing to give constructive critisism on the project, please send me a PM so we can get you more details.

Once the play testing has been completed, we plan to offer a PDF version to the community.

As some of you probably already know, I've been working on an NPC collection recently. I have finished up the first section of that collection and wanted to share it with everyone. This first section is a collection of stats for Stormtroopers. Many of them appear in the books, but many more were created specifically for this project.

I'd love to hear what everyone thinks!

If I can get the file converted into a pdf, I'll be sure to post that version as well.
