Hmmm, was thinking it was going to be easier to picture the difference but I realized the re-imagined series has two types of raiders. The basic space superiority fighter you usually see the Vipers engaging and then the heavy raider which is like the Cylon version of the Raptor. So now it's narrowed down to two designs from three.
Although I wonder what's going to happen in the new series they've got in production. They've got a new series within the re-imagined community called Blood and Chrome which is going to b like the Razor Flashbacks and take place during the First Cylon War. Razor featured a Raider design that was basically the original series Raider, maybe some differences. We gonna get a fourth raider design with the new series?
