Holy inactive games batman!

So life finally settled down enough that I could spend some mental energy to come back here. I was all set to feel horrible about having abandoned my two games. And then I noticed the last post dates on all the other games. Of 14 games only 3 have posts in 2010 or sooner! That hard to keep players and GMs interested, huh?

heh, people's lives change Razz

should combine all the poeple who have remained active into one SUPER GAME!

the few games that are still active are being played by the same people:P

the admins should re-sort the games and put the less active ones down lower.

Even make another subsection for retired/inactive games.
ie. The forum would sort out:
.: Overview
.: Star Wars D6 Roleplaying Game
.: Play by Post
.: Inactive Play by Post
with their various subforums. Would certainly clean up the active games list.

Would love to see the Thractin campaign respark, but I don't think most of the players are even around anymore :/

EDIT - actually, I think I'll PM the admins with the suggestion Razz

I'd be happy to take up gming it again. I think my life has stabilized in such a way that it will remain so.

Also, I like that idea. But what would it take to get a game into the inactive section and back out again? It could wind up with a lot of forum switching...

its an easy matter to move a game, so just a PM from the GM, and recent activity on the game.

we can say 1+ year of inactivity moves it.

you going to run a new game, or hte same game?

Yeah, it's about a 45second job to move a subforum between forums (once the forums are set up). A year of inactivity doesn't sound unreasonable to me Razz

Shorter doesn't, even, but a year should be plenty.

I'd like to take up the Thractin campaign, if we can either get all the old players back or find new ones for some of the characters. I've still got all my notes stashed away in a box.

Yeah. We might be able to get the other's back with an e-mail, but probably not. Well, I'll stick around and maybe jump on another game.

If folks wander back in or other players volunteer to take over the characters (or maybe we can find a way to finagle the old characters into hiatus and bring in new ones) maybe we can start Thractin back up again.

Well, I'm active (again, anyway)...I know I have some periods of inactivity due to whatever crap happens at that time, but I always come back.

If there's another game starting (or restarting), let me know. I'll probably hop into it if there's space available.

Put me in on what serves as a waiting list for any game opening, whenever it opens up. I'd be crafting a new character, so any prospective active GM would be able to have some say in backstory, etc. to make insertion easier.
