One can always use more stormtroopers. I have a set of 10 from before WEG came out. I can't even recall who made them, but the scale is slightly smaller than typical 25mm such as Grenadier.

I'd be interested in picking up more, even if plastic. I still miss the good old days of real lead instead of this fracking shiny brittle metal. Real lead was much easier to modify...sigh. |

Yeah, lead tastes better, too _________________ "We attack under cover of daylight. Yes it's the last thing they'll be expecting, a daylight charge over the minefield." - Arnold Judas Rimmer, BSC SSC |

				Peuter... i think its called.

I actually like the plastic figs that WOTC etc came out with. They may bend more but the brake less.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Originally miniatures were lead based, but companies began producing them in a lead free allow similar to pewter, but pewter tends to be harder.

I think the plastics are a cheap last resort (well cheap if you get to actually buy the ones you want), but I much prefer the look and feel of the metal miniatures, or even the hard plastic minis that Citadel produces for Warhammer. _________________ "We attack under cover of daylight. I use to use the metal painted figures from the Star Wars Micro Collection that came out in the 80's. When my toy store was clearancing them I must have bought 10 sets because they were all 99 cents a box. I had incredible Hoth battles! _________________ A day that takes us through the darkness, a day that leads us into light, a day that we celebrate...the LIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHHHTTTT!"

Over here in Oki.. went past a store today (enroute to another base to conduct a VTC) that had some WEG figures in a window-ledge display case.... Pity i have no car of my own to drive out to it, i might go see what they had to offer. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I just went to a gaming convention over the weekend and picked up the Imperial set (10 minis including 3 stormtroopers), and like 3 or 4 blisters for $25.

Hope I'm not being to much of a jack@$$ for mentioning it!

What I thought was strange is that the lady selling it was into SW:D6, so I can't figure out why she didn't just keep them.

On a side note, I ran Star Wars D6 at the convention, and it rocked! _________________ "We attack under cover of daylight. Yes it's the last thing they'll be expecting, a daylight charge over the minefield." - Arnold Judas Rimmer, BSC SSC |

On topic, does anyone know of a good source of Star Wars miniatures in the UK? _________________ "The ships hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't." |

Sorry, I acquired all mine in the US. I haven't shopped for any over here. I'd be curious if any one has good sources. |
