This is an upcoming Kickstarter project, but I do not know the date it will go live (Someone will update this thread when it does). It's a general D6 core book from Gallant Knight Games, the makers of the Zorro D6 game. Like Zorro, this is not OpenD6 but rather a D6 game officially licensed from Nocturnal Media (the current owner of the WEG publishing imprint and non-open D6). I imagine the system will be very similar to Zorro but perhaps more generalized and slightly updated. I'll probably try to get a hardcopy of this.

Thanks for the link! I'm definitely interested in learning more about this edition. I like the direction chatted in their two blog posts a lot.

I've been looking at the news updates as they move toward launch. I'm really debating if I want to back this because I've used D6 for so long, have so many of the core rulebooks that I've mined for ideas and plan to use Star Wars D6 again. Or do I just want to skip this because I really only played/GMed 20% of the core rulebooks I own.

The Kickstarter went live today and it is already backed.

Despite being a Zorro fan, I only got the PDF of that game. So I went ahead and pledged for the hardcover of this. There is only one core book, but you get your choice of covers (There are covers with three themes: sci-fi, action/adventure, and superhero - I guess you'll make your selection after a fulfillment email comes out).

Also, I don't remember where I learned about this, but this is a podcast episode where Alan Bahr from Gallant Knight Games stops by to talk West End Games, his revision of the D6 System (on Kickstarter) and the RPG industry in general:

The completionist in me is saying one thing. The side of me that has only been running one-shots for the last few years is saying another.
