Are there any details on the consumables (food, Water, medi-kit, etc) on an Escape pod, say the Class-6 escape pod as seen in ANH? |

It occurred to me when Luke was eating his rations in ESB on Dagobah. |

Yes, and other survival supplies. Communications systems such as a beacon to send long range and short distress signals, and to receive short range transmissions from rescuers. _________________ *

I asked something similar years back, when planning out how long a crew could go, before worrying about survival checks, if their ship crash landed on say a desert planet..
Some said it depends on the type of pod. A bare bones one, say stock on a YT-1300, would be 2-3 days, all the way up to some life boats on luxury ships being able to provide for 2-3 weeks, if not longer. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
