Theory: Imperial Military trained for droids not bioligicals

in short, the Imperial Military as portrayed was "simply" a Rise in military numbers and material, not a change of actual doctrine outside "details"

The main body of the Military and maybe mostly the stromtrooper corps were basically an extention of the clone troopers, hence the overlap in the early years.

The Empire was founded at before the clone wars actually ended, and the new empire would continue fighting for quite a while against remnant droids as well as the various cells of "freedom fighters"

So the Imperial Military was never equipped or even prepared or ready in any way to fight a guerilla fight, when they were founded and created to actually combat DROIDS.

So can this explain many of the vague role descritins of the imperial military and stormtroopers.

Stromtroopers being the "clones" tasked and designed to combat Droids, as they did in the early years of the empire until the droid threat was no more.

Now if this is the case then the role of the stomrtooper and they traning and "ways of fighting" would be more adapted to the Clone Wars type conflict and with no more droids, the stomtroopers have no actual role and is thus described as "second line" troops and occupingin forces when the actual army is doing the bulk of fighting.

count this be the case and the actual weakness of the empire, they were fighting the wrong enemy in the wrong way compared to what they were supposed to fight, being large droid armies ?

Now I can see why they are both seens as barely able to shoot and being the pinacle of militay forces in the galaxy shooting with extreme accuracy etc.

If in fact the empire was there to fight the droids and their military was made for this then a human small unit mobile guerilla force is basically superior in that they are more difficult to both locate and to fight compared to droid forces. To me this explains a lot about the imperial military why they appear incompetent in many cases and still are referred to as powerful, but with the skills in combat seen in shows like the mandalorian, a legion of stomrtroopers would not be able to hit a building and thus not able to take a planet in any way, they can not hit anything ergo they pose no danger at all.......so if they are dangerous and they are "everywhere" and can not shoot at all, and are totallu incomptetent then they CAN NOT be powerful in any way, 3 guys with a lighter would be more deadly than entire legions of troops that can not hit any target.

We know that the stormtroopers are the BEST trained soldier in the galaxy, and the only "enemy" less competnt than a stromtrooper who can not hit anything is a droid that is barely able to and dangerous only in numbers though only becuse the droids do hit targets. Thoughts?
