I am a regular attender of Gary Con, a great convention held in Lake Geneva, WI, birthplace of role-playing games.
This year there are a lot of SW games. Lots of the FFG game, and I believe at least three of our beloved d6 (four actual games, with one being run twice).
Being a West Coaster, it's a lot further travel for me to get to the Midwest than it might be for some of you. It would be cool some year if some Pit denizens made their way up to the frozen wastes for some tabletop gaming. Gary Con started as a smaller con, but now it's up to a couple of thousand participants. Lots of old skool games (the Dead Games Society has a large presence there) and if you are a grognard, you would be in familiar company. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

Very cool.
I had been involved in a few cons back in my day - but not for a long time.
That would be awesome to run a star wars d6 game one day....
