Have you ever wanted to explain why the WEG Star Wars RPG is inherently superior to all other iterations of Star Wars rpg, but couldn't put it in words? Well despair no longer and let the words of Mr. Welch do the work for you!

I need to make a meme of Kathy Bates saying something like "West End Games IS Star Wars and D20's are the devil!". |

Please do!
I listened to the video and heard that. OK, we're SWD6 fanatics. I haven't watched a whole lot of videos about Star Wars D6, but so far every single one of them has mentioned the Rancor Pit. _________________ *

GD right we're fanatics. Rancor Pit is number 1. All others are 2 or more. |

It is one of those things I never felt the need to explain, it is just an inherent truth of the universe.
In the mid-2000s I had even converted some D20 players over. Was invited to a Star Wars D20 campaign and responded that having played and run Star Wars D6 for so long, I had no desire to downgrade. Long story short, at least 3 of the players wanted to try D6, we played, the never went back to D20. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |

I always expalined it to d20 players in particular, as a level free system with almost total freedom in your character concept and with the freedom to have world with a blanced out imbalance in that anyone can be your superior in several skills while still making you a strong hero.
in D20 the game world is actually designed to be met within your level +/- 2
in SW d6 you have a game world of every level from expert to novice in everthing and nothing just like the world actually is |
