The full name was "The Rebel Alliance To Restore The Republic", IIRC.

And called themselves the "Rebels" or "Alliance" for short, for sure.

While it was founded by a group of Rebels, the political work was done by former Senators, so it's charters are obviously longwinded and filled with self-important messages.

I remember reading their name was "The Alliance of Free Planets to Restore the Republic". I think it's on the declaration in the Rebel Alliance Sourcebook.

I believe most of them are undercover operatives. They would either wear the uniform of the type of imperial they "are". I'm sure some are civillians to pass information on to the next link in the chain to get info back to the rebellion without raising suspision.

As for those that are in the rebel bases, I have no clue. I doubt a large percentage of the Intell officers are in bases for too long (excluding officers). They probably either wear a generic rebel uniform or "street clothes". The officers should wear an officer's uniform.

Special ops and Intell aren't the same thing, although they do work together alot. Intell traffics and gathers intellignece and information - then the spec ops acts on that information, the infiltrator would move in on the target.

There are several stories about Alliance intelligence people in the Adventure Journals. In the stories I can recall right now, they never wore any uniforms, just civilian clothes. Even when on their "base" they just wore civi's.
