Ardennians

Singular: Ardennian
Adjective: ardennian
Languages: Ardennian (village dialects, Norell), Galactic Standard (Basic), Bocce (Nebula)
Homeworlds: Ardennia
Species Type: four-armed simian mammals
Size: 1.5 / 1.3-1.7 meters
Move: 8/10 (Climbing/Brachiation Move: 9/11)
Average Total ATTRIBUTE DICE: 13D
Code:
      AVERAGE    MIN/MAX
  DEX:   3D     2D+1/5D
  KNO:   1D+2   1D/3D+2
  MEC:   2D+2   1D+2/4D+1
  PER:   2D     1D+1/4D
  STR:   2D     1D+1/4D
  TEC:   1D+2   1D/3D+2
  FOR:   0D     0D/3D

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
Acute Vision: Ardennians have well-developed eyesight, giving them a +1D bonus to all vision-related physical awareness checks (Perception or searching).
Manual Dexterity: Ardennians are quadextrous: All four arm-hands are equally dominant (so there is no off-hand penalty for anything done with an arm-hand), while the two prehensile feet are non-dominant hands. Up to twice per round, Ardennian characters can attempt to perform two simultaneous actions on their action turn, but normal MAPs apply to all actions. The character must have at least two unused actions remaining on a turn for each pair of actions, and at least one of the simultaneous actions of each pair must involve using hands (such as brawling and most uses of most Dexterity, Mechanical, and Technical skills). In any turn with simultaneous actions, the player must declare both actions before rolling any dice, and the GM must deem it possible for the character to perform the two actions simultaneously. If the two actions might affect each other, the GM will determine the final outcome of the actions (including the order of events if applicable).
Climbing/Jumping: Ardennians are an arboreal species and receive a base bonus of +1D+1 to climbing checks when using four of their six hands, increased to +1D+2 when using five hands and +1D+3 when using all six hands. Ardennians also receive a +1D bonus to all jumping checks.

Do you have a rundown of what some of those 'racial packages' are?

It's one of my many ongoing projects. Most of my playable species stat blocks are still in draft form (and some I haven't done yet). I only have two in shareable form so far...

Humans
Zabrak

I'm going to share them all eventually, but for my convenience I am sharing them in my house system, so I've had to post details on my system first so there would be a reference for the different skill names, etc.

I would be very interested in this, should you ever post it. Sounds great.

Sure, I can compile them into a document when I am done, but I'll post them piecemeal first so everyone can argue why each one is wrong first, lol.

Proper proofreading! 😁

Ardennians were next. Telsij's version was an influence, but I added the good vision plus climbing and jumping abilities that brachiators should have. I never stat out using teeth in combat because sentients rarely use teeth in combat in my games (I just make a ruling in-play if it ever comes up).

I feel the free actions thing was too OP, so the simultaneous actions thing just includes an early action with everything still mapped as normal. If they are doing things they are good at simultaneously, then they will still have a good chance of succeeding in them. I think my version still captures the concept of a character with more than two arms doing more things at a time than humans tend to do.

Thoughts on the Ardennian stats in the OP?
