A Human male trader who operates on the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk. By the year 1 ABY, he has joined the Rebel Alliance. Dann runs a shop that is designated by the Empire as "Trading post Wookiee Planet C," and is a close friend to the family of the Wookiee Chewbacca. Dann claims to have a brother, as well a nephew in the Imperial Military.
Saun Dann is a jovial individual who orders candy for children in need during Life Day. Once, when he discovered that a candy had been stolen, he fashioned replacement gifts from his own supplies. As a shop owner, Dann panders to his customers and is quick to agree with their stated preferences while trying to make a sale. Outwardly cooperative with Imperials, the trader is secretly a member of the Rebel Alliance who has his own network of connections. Dann has light skin, gray hair and brown eyes, and sometimes wears spectacles. He speaks Galactic Basic Standard and additionally understands Shyriiwook.
