What is your opinion of the Mini Six rules set by AntiPaladin Games? If a heavily influenced by Star Wars (but not Star Wars) rpg were to be published using Mini Six as a skeleton, would you be interested?

I already backed Breachworld... though some of that is just knowing Jason Richards from our days with Palladium. _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

Sort of like TORG without the influx of the Cosms. Nice!
My idea takes place within our own Milky Way galaxy roughly 1000 years or so from now, with humans finally spreading out through the stars, with some private entrepreneurs seeking fortune while the main ruling body is on a galactic conquest and generally despised by all other species.
The focus for the game revolves around bounty hunting, with the characters being members of a hunting crew that zip around the galaxy chasing after various fugitives, but the setting is sandbox enough to play it however you want. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

Given our past, probably Rifts with a bit less gonzo.

Cowboy Bebop? |
Sort of similar I suppose. It's been ages since I've watched the show, but I don't imagine it as being as gonzo as that. My thoughts while putting this together have been heavily influenced by the Mandalorian on Disney+. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

Is it going to be based on the "Imperium in Revolt" sort of setting in Mini Six? |

Nope. Nothing as glaringly close to Star Wars as that. I just hope to get the texture of the films but having it be it's own entity.
Basically, Earth was invaded by the grays. They had been covertly visiting the planet for a few centuries, examining humans, animal and plant life and such. In the late 21st century they finally made their presence known to the public and made out like they were here to help us save ourselves. They offered to cure diseases that we couldn't fix, produce food for everyone, and began introducing technology that made it so that no one ever had to work for a living. After a decade or two of making the whole world comfortably numb, they sprung their trap.
A pair of gigantic motherships hovered over the poles and began firing a continuous beam of plasma into them hoping to cause a massive flood and wreak havoc around the world. The major powers had secretly been expecting something along these lines and worked together to destroy one ship and heavily damage the other. After several years of hard battles, humans finally kicked their little gray butts. They repaired the damaged mothership, did a track back on their star charts and went and gave them a taste of their own medicine.
After that they started conquering other worlds and generally made a nuisance of themselves, and got the rest of the galaxy POd at them. A thousand or so years later, they've got control of around a third of the galaxy and they're still pushing outward. Other sections of the galaxy deal with them, but don't necessarily consider them any more of a threat than any other species.
The players can create their own alien races, planets and such, or play one of a handful I've concocted. As for templates, so far I have six that I'm working on, including a Hunter, a Starfighter Pilot, a Warrior, a Medic, a Techie/Mechanic type and a hacker of sorts, but I plan to do several more.
I'm working on Starfighter combat and capital ship combat. I cobbled together my Own version of Psionics because what I've seen on the Open D6 site was a bit too crunchy for my taste. I'll post a sample of some of what I've got when I get home later this evening. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

I like Min Six as it's lies between Risus and D6 System when it comes to complexity when it comes to d6-based games. Just haven't played it. |

I'd never heard of this before. Sounds like it was a fun experiment. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

Okay, here are a couple of the templates I have cobbled together.
Starship Pilot
Warrior
I think I included all of the necessary bits. Tell me what you think. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!
