Hey all. I'm an older player. I purchased the original set back in the eighties, but either sold it or lost it, when I got married. When I learned about the thirtieth-anniversary edition, I jumped on it.
Now, I haven't had a chance to play again, other than forming a group with some relatives. All I've had a chance to do is step them through character creation and explain the differences between this and other RPGs.
Anyway, I haven't laid my hands on this in almost thirty years, so I'm still getting familiar with it again. So far, it's all coming back easily. I look forward to chatting with you all, and perhaps, a little Discord gaming.
Keep in mind, all I know is what I'm guessing is first edition rules. I am not familiar with the second or the revised, expanded, and updated thing (other than knowing they exist).
