The closes things I can think of is the force bond between the exsile and keia in KOTOR 2, and maybe the mental force connection between the emperor and his hands in legends.
I could think that if they are togeter each of the dyad can draw power from the other (but not at the same time)
So Kylo can ADD to his power by drawing on REY's powers in a fight, if she is close, if too far then no.
Also I can imaging the duo have some form of boost to their powers when fighting as a team, maybe a +2D to maost force related aactions, perhaps the same as the amount of "power" they caan draw from eachother.
With a bonues like that on them being the "complete" dyad, then I would assume this will make them both more powerful, and I think hinted to ebing stornge enough then to finally destroy the old smelly fart.
Now I would aso assume that this would only "work" with a light and a dark sider....maybe a form of force balance if you will.
But two darksiders or two lightsiders can not be dyads,......
interesting thing this, get that little gray one running wild in the was vacum of "brain" here, causing all sorts of idead on the concept to pop up |

I found it strange at first, when i heard of those videos.. BUT then you add in what palp said, and so did snoke, it does kind of make sense.
