It means if you have less then the normel crew, but at least 1 Pilot, to all difficulties for manovers 10 are addied.
and with less crew you can`t fly the ship. |

Yes, it's very hard to fly without at least one person.
"The ship will come and save us." "THERE'S NOONE IN IT!" "So? You mean it can't fly itself? It's got computers." "I'm sorry, but it's no KITT." |

Skaff, he is not making fun of you.
You had no idea what the number meant, it was obscure and there was no reference to the rule on what that particular crew reference meant.
So, someone explained it to you. The crew number, that number next to it, the whole shabang.'
Than, with your new found understanding of the rule, and the particular situation that is visulaized when the rule is explained, such as ship operations with less than one crew member and the inherent difficulty there of, a form of sketch comedy was made for humorous effect in a text-based sight gag.
No one was making fun of you.
But the reference to KITT was making fun of David Hasslehoff. _________________ My backpack has jets!

That's just Ray. He doesn't seem to make fun of the poster but rather the situation. Goethe is the one who set up the no crew situation and that's the situation Ray was playing with.
Skelton #/+# refers to the absolute bare minimum number of crew members needed to operate a ship and the increased difficulty they face for all manueverability, movement, and shielding actions. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

I was aiming more at the people who would attempt to use less than one person to pilot a ship. It has happened.
Even with my group. 'Course, even without a pilot, it still worked.
Gotta love Droids when you have a *LOT* of money to upgrade 'em! In hindsight, we should have figured out a way to name it KITT. Oh well, next time.
And Hellcat is right, I wasn't aiming at any particular person at all. Just the situation described (Less than one.).
Although I am amazed at all the people that jumped to my defence. Thanks guys! It won't shield you if you leave me openings for jokes and puns, but it is appreciated. |

Wouldn't have it any other way, Ray. After all, we did put together some Fluffy stats thanks to your joking around. Who knows what else some of your jokes might lead to. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!
