Didn't realize how broken the Dazouri can be in a game. So here are some changes that I think works easier to implement in the game and better emulates this species as is intended as it borrows heavily from the Lahsbee/Huhk it from the old Marvel run of the Star Wars comic. Please comment.

DAZOURI
Attribute Dice: 12D
DEXTERITY 1D+2-3D+2
KNOWLEDGE 2D-4D
MECHANICAL 2D-4D
PERCEPTION 2D+2-4D
STRENGTH 1D-3D
TECHNICAL 2D-4D
Special Abilities:
--- Rage: When a Dazouri is wounded, badly frightened, threatened with bodily harm, successfully intimidated or infuriated, transform into a rage form. In this state the dazouris will attack anyone nearby. Friends of the dazouri may attempt to calm them down, this requires a Very Difficult con or persuasion check. To resist becoming enraged a character must make a Difficult willpower check. A rage usually lasts for 2D rounds. They can attempt to prevent the rage transformation with a Very Difficult willpower check. The dazouri can also initiate this transformation, but this is a Heroic willpower check.
--- Rage Form: When a dazouri is enraged, its takes one complete round for it to transform into its new form. When transformation is complete the dazouri will grow to 3-3.5 meters tall, grows elongated teeth, claws and horns, recieves +2D to Strength, and move increases to 10. Dazouris in rage form may only use brawling parry, dodge, melee combat, melee parry, intimidation, brawling, climbing/jumping, and lifting.
--- Claws: Do STR+2D damage
--- Teeth: Do STR+1D+2 damage
--- Horns: Do STR+1D damage
Move: 8/10
Size: 1 meter tall, 3-3.5 meters tall (in rage form)

Me- don't get him angry. You won't like him when he's angry.
Everyone on this forum -

Yeah, we were.
I always thought these guys were just a gimmick for sneaky GMs to surprise their players (and discourage picking on 'the little guy'). They're really just a representation of the tiny but determined Rebel Alliance standing against the overwhelming might of the Galactic Empire.
I like them as-is just for the NPC shock value, but your changes do bring some balance for aspiring Bruce Banner players. _________________ Aha! |

Unfortunately I don't have any helpful comments. This is an absolutely ridiculous concept. I would never allow this to appear in my game or to even exist in my SWU.
Where does all the extra mass come from when they transform into the rage form? Where does all the mass go when they return to their normal form? The only changeling in the films merely altered her face - her entire body remained identical (she was only played by one actor). So there is no film precedent for this absurd comic book type of alien.
In my SWU, changelings have a constant mass in any form, and they can't drastically alter their density which means different forms can only vary a small amount in size. That's the only way they make any sense to me. _________________ *
