Most of know that Palpatine is named SHEEV.
This made me think that if his parents had not named him after an rectal ointment then I suspect he would have not fallen to the dark side and old plagueis would have needed to find another?

But seriously being named after a rectal ointment should push most people to not just kill their family but to hate the world.
To me this seems the most rational explanation |
