Hello all,

I was wondering if there was a D6 book out there that specifically dealt with weapons? A weapons compendium, perhaps?

I already have "Fantastic Technology" which has some weapons, but I'm looking for more, more, more. Specifically, something with pictures.

If there is such a thing, would anybody be willing to share?

Thanks in advance.

The best weapons book is indeed Gundark's Fantastic Technology, you won't find another more full of weapons. Though many sourcebooks have a weapons section, but that's spread thin.

The one I have is Galladinium's Fantastic Tech... is this the same thing?

Nope. While it does have a weapon's section, it's not as heavy on the weapons as Gundark's is. Though Galladinium's is a great book to have for everthing it does have.

No, but maybe we here at the Rancor Pit, should write one. Until we do, this might help alittle bit:

I've considered doing a weapons and equipment compilations book. But I ultimately dicarded the idea, it's just too much work at this point.

Who knows, maybe I'll change my mind eventually...

If the D6 community wanted to help support you in the project, how might we do that?

Well, I am certainly not doing this in the near future. I'm currently editing my Creatures Stats book. And if I feel I have the time and energy to tackle it, my next project is a Vehicles Stats book.

But if you want to get things under way for a weapons and equipment book, what you have to do is start typing up all the stats from every book. Get all the pdfs and start going through each book, typing up all the weapons and equipment you can find (noting sources as well). Also saving all the pictures of these items you can find.
After that is done it's time to go through WOTC's collection, getting al the conversions from The Rebellion site and also creating the ones not done by them. And then there's still doing a lot of web browsing to fill in many blanks...

If anybody feels like tackling this, please be my guest. Just make sure you do it in an organized way, so if we eventually try to add people to the effort, we'll know what's already been covered.

If this thing got off the ground enough, I might feel inclined to join in sooner, if I have the time.

Looking through the database over at Rebel Roleplayers Alliance for the weapons and equipment which have a source said to be one of the sourcebooks and supplements would also be a good place to start.
