After being able to help out CRMcNeill with some old fan material I though I throw up my archive, now it's not sorted well or even slightly well but it holds the stuff I downloaded from the net in the late 90's to early 2000's, I just hope someone finds something of interest.
archive zip

Holy Hell, it's the motherlode. You weren't kidding about the disorganization, but dayum... I never thought I'd see the Armage Bedar stat archive again, but there it is... _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. May be dating myself a little but I started uni in 96 and found the internEt and SWRPG mailing list shortly afterward and just stared saving things that looked interesting at the time.
I don't think have all of Armage's work, but a fair bit is there
Enjoy |

Sounds about like me. I frequented that list quite a bit as well, under the handle Solitaire.

Looked about the same size as the one I remember having, and a lot of his stuff went into the early fan sourcebooks and galaxy guides, too. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. You ask what's missing. As far as I can tell the fact that Galaxy Guide 13: Gamblers and Scoundrels is missing is lending credence to the theory that it never really existed. There is a legendary sourcebook that some fan put together, and no one seems to have had a copy of it, and there aren't any users around who still claim to have seen it firsthand.
With how massive this collection is from the era, since it's not here, I'm beginning to think it either never existed, or was so poorly done that there is a reason it didn't survive. _________________ __________________________________

Wow. It may not say GG13: Gamblers and Scoundrels, but it might as well...
The only thing missing is fluff and imagery. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

This is a supplement of all sorts of information regarding the role of scoundrels in the Star Wars universe. Im speaking of the gamblers and con-men and women which roam the galaxy in search of nothing but credits, and are willing to do anything to get their hands on as much money as possible. These sorts of characters promise intrigue in any campaign.
Section:
1. Related skills: Advanced, specialisations and basic skills.
2. Equipment: From Gambling skifters to covert weapons, all you will need.
3. Games of the galaxy: What else would a man gamble on?
4. Casinos around the Galaxy.(includes some NPCs and info.)
5. NPC and famous Gamblers.
6. Homebrew-brew's, Kevin Perrine's list of Drink and food in the SW universe(includes drinks potency) |

Yes! Guys, don't you realize what this is? I have no doubt this *IS* the historical basis of the legendary galaxy guide for gamblers and scoundrels! Deano, you have found the historical (dingy brown carpenter's cup) holy grail for WEG SW fans! Now this still doesn't prove that it had ever been fluffed-out into (gold gem-encrusted) GG format, so the galaxy guide itself may still be only legend, but I do have to concede that it's a little more likely an actual GG had been made by someone along the way and that work has since long been lost. If this dates back to 1998-1999 as it seems, that was right at the end of WEG SW when fan-created content content shared on the internet of the day would have been very little and new. Perhaps this scoundrel handbook was well-received among fans and referring to this work as a "galaxy guide" was a term of affection in the wake of the loss of WEG SW (which left us with only 12 official GGs). That could have even been the reason that the fanmade TPM Sourcebook was not called a galaxy guide by its authors, because this "handbook" came first. Below is the Wayback Machine's archive of the website of the unidentified author of the handbook. From my quick poke around, there doesn't seem to be much there.

Deano, fedoras off to you, sir! I would love to hear the tale of your discovery of this or any other background info (or speculation) you have. Thank you! _________________ *

I have to say I didn't know that people were looking for it and I don't recall a GG13 from back then, so your hypothesis may be correct Whill. The use of the GG came later on, the terms sourcebook, guide and handbook were more commonly used in the late 90's and early 00's from what I can recall. I reviewed dozens of sites as part of the team that worked on the starwars-rpg.net Reviewed Sites website and I can only remember seeing this document. The internet is a big place, even back then, so it's possible that I'm not aware of it or cannot recall it. I think I have the old code for the reviewed sites page so I could scan though it.
I would of thought I picked it up from the legendary mailing list. I only looked for it after I saw the comments above. It's been on my harddrive since 98 looking back at my old backups.
I do have a paper archive of things that I printed from back then so I can look through and see if there's something I've forgotten. I must have two big folders of printed stuff from that sort of time.
I'd be interested in a collaboration to create GG13 from this document if people are interested.
Hope this gives you some answers
