I love stargate... I love star wars D6. I love the fact that a lot of stuff from stargate has been statted over at D6 Holocron. However, one thing is missing from my life... stats for Goa'Uld... has anyone created a race/creature similar to the Goa'Uld? I have tried, and will prolly post what I have come up with so far, but honestly i suck at homebrew. |

Welcome to the Pit!
(Sorry, I can't comment on your post as I never watched the TV show Stargate...although I have the movie on DVD.) _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies
Only some of it is for D6 Star Wars.
Just repurchased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim games. I forgot how much I missed them. |

Tok'ra would be more of a mesh between the host and the symbiont, as it is a more cooperative mode.

doing a quick 5 minute review id stat them as such:
DEX Worm: 0D+1/1D; Host: increase by 2 pips
KNOW 2D+2/4D+2
MECH Worm: 0D+1/1D; Host: increase by 2 pips
PERC 2D+2/4D+2
STR Worm: 0D+1/1D; Host: increase by 2 pips
TECH 2D+2/4D+2
special
*ages at 1/3 normal rate
*immune to disease and most poisons
*inherited memory
*radiation resistance +2D
*willpower +2D
probably much more if i thoroughly went through the stargate rpg books. _________________ Aim low, shoot high

I asked about using them before, and one of the bigger challenges would be if/when someone's taken over, how often if at all, can THEY influence things, or is the symbiot in charge? What of, if the host happens to be a jedi/force user? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Thank you all for the responses.
thedemonapostle, love your work over at d6holocron. Its my bible for homebrew content.
Suteph, thanks you for the greetings.
garhkal, in response to your questions, in the stargate tv series, the symbiote had full control at all times. In game terms, what if, each time the host/symbiote failed a stamina check, the host could make a willpower check to take brief control? This could reflect the symbiote being weakened enough to lose control.
If the host is a force user, I would say the same rules apply. The symbiote would have access to any powers the force user had. |

for Goa'uld id recommend using the Stargate SG-1 RPG book 3 "System Lords." it has most of what youre looking for and the only issue youll have is that its all in a D20 system. pages 130-131 for basic goa'uld. _________________ Aim low, shoot high
