Does anyone have an idea of how fast a turbolaser fires (cycle rate)? Can a turbolaser be made into a "chain gun"? If so, what would the stats be? Twisted Evil

Diffrent turbolasers use diffrent rules. The Hapans used turbolaser triple linked turrets, making up for their weaker weaponry by carrying more of it.

The rules are the same as fire-linking. You want sandwhich four, 6, 8 turbolasers togethor, go for it.

Yup. The hapan battle dragons use that rotating ring thing, cause they do not have the 'faster firing' turbolaser technology.

Generally, fully automatic weapons add +1D damage over the non-auto version.

As Volar pointed out, the general formula in the Star Wars D6 system is for repeating weaponry to be 1D higher in damage than their non-repeating counterparts, 2D for medium repeater, and 3D for heavy. I would place a gatling Turbolaser in this stat range, probably at the lower end as it should still be experimental and would have a high power drain.
