There's a nice extended interview with Pablo Hidalgo on the Star Wars show, in which he talks quite a bit about the influences of West End Games on his career, and the Rebels Cartoon:

Thanks for sharing this. It was cool but unfortunately they didn't address a major issue with continuity and canon: The utter vagueness of dating some publications in the timeline. I get that they are trying not to back themselves into continuity corners, but the vagueness ends up creating more problems than if they had just been more specific in the first place. Maybe I'll take that to Twitter.
