Okay how would this work?
Namely my problem is that I don't see it working as a new hand unless its controlled through a neural link somehow.
Problem is the player wants it to be on a powersuit - not as a cybernetic.
I know we see neural links in a number of cybernetics - but I really only see once piece of base equipment that is neural link and that is the Synoptic Teacher.
The rest are all implants from what I see - which I can understand him getting a neural implant would then allow linkage to all this, but isn't what he's looking for. |

No this is the one with the powersuit made to look like the cat people with hands too big to grip normal weapons but have embedded vibroclaws - he wants the tail so he can grasp things from time to time.
problem is I have no idea how he would control it with somekind of neural headband or somesuch. |

Give it a computer link and have him require the lobot cybernetic interface to control the tail. BUT since its being broadcasted, it can be hacked/jammed.

Or just wire it into the Rimpack (Response Improvement Package) from Cracken's Rebel Field Guide. Maybe tie into the Borg/Cyborg Interface if you like. I'd say the level of invasive surgery depends on whether you want this tail to be under unconscious control (twitches under stress and helps with balance and acrobatics) or a fully prehensile consciously-controlled fifth appendage.
And yes, if this is for the War Suit of Doom, just gin up some stats for a Dinobot and get it over with.
