Is there a limit to the number if character points a player may spend on a single roll?
Thanks |

I believe it is two for a single roll. |

2 on any skill or attribute roll
2 to increase a damage roll (evil action in terms of force users)
5 to increase a specialization roll (often disallowed by most gm's I play with)
5 to increase a roll of any reaction skill.
5 to increase a strength roll to avoid damage
may spend them on another players roll
may spend them during a scene but only on one continuos action.

Right. The general rule is 2, unless it is a defensive roll. Then it is 5. _________________ __________________________________

What they said.
Though as a HR, one thing i started seeing back in England and then again in the sparks group, was a person in a vehicle or ship, getting to spend CP on improving the hull (or hull+shield) roll of a ship to resist taking damage.
Me i let you spend it on the vehicle dodge roll, but not the hull roll.
THOUGH if you are using a droid to do the piloting (which several people have)< then only if the droid itself has CP, does it get to use any on that piloting roll. If not, then you cannot 'assist it' with those CP unless you ARE acting in the co=pilot capacity. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
