Has anyone had a player that started with one or got one in game?
How did it work out? |

Ah, "de-limbed."
Nope. The Wookie wasn't in good enough shape after the surgery for that. _________________ Don Diestler

I had a character that started out with not only that, but a number of other cyborg replacements.
Note I said, "replacements," NOT "enhancements."
Although the cyborg construct was, at least in part, an enhancement, my character's history had him as denizen of a planetary system that got PWNED by the Empire. He was severely injured, and was put back together much in the tradition of the Six Million Dollar Man. After his rehabilitation, he became part of the planetary's underground resistance.
Unfortunately, this character was part of a MASSIVE undertaking by our GM, who wanted to run a game on several different fronts, and had each of us players create SIX characters for this game; each player had to have at least one character who was part of the command crew on the resistance's flagship, one had to be a fighter pilot, and then there was freedom to create other characters you wanted to play. We did get the game off the ground, and did touch base with each of our characters' fronts, but the game didn't last too long. It's too bad; I'd really have liked to have played that scenario out. |
