|
|
So I have thought up a good idea for my gaming group. I was going to see if they would be will to play a game as a group of Sector Rangers searching for a murder. I thought that it would be a good idea for a game and I think that the players would be fine playing as imperials with morals. Any thoughts? |

I thought sector rangers were not aligned with the Empire.
BUT that said, it sounds like a good game idea. Lots of use for non combat skills (investigation, computers, search and the like), maybe you could even push it more to a CSI style of doing things. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Why would they not be aligned with the Empire? During the Empire years, they were even called Imperial Sector Rangers. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. I did think it would be different from other missions so I thought it could be a little lighter natured game instead of one based on combat. |

Thank you
After some reading.
Play a sector ranger, some deputy, and the droid type listed.
That droid is weird, Blaster and firearms skilled but no weapon or place to mount one. |

It is funky the droid has both blaster and missile weapon skills but no actual weapons. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

The patrol boats look interesting.
Was your plan for a game a patrol boat working for the sector rangers and the chars crew on the ship? |

If you're not looking for them to be aligned with the Empire, you could have an Antarian Ranger, rather than just a Sector Ranger. The Antarian Rangers worked hand in hand with the Jedi quite a lot, so they would NOT be aligned with the Empire. In fact, they'd be hiding FROM the Empire.
Just a thought. |

It looks like a souped up 'seeker' that Luke trained with on the falcon in a new hope.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
