I loved the old film The Black Hole when I was a kid, and the three different robot types made an impression on me. As a Star Wars fan, I've always thought that Vincent would make a great astromech model with minor modification, and Maxamillion and the Sentry Robots had great potential as well. Has anyone ever done crossover stats for these? _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. The Black Hole... That takes me back 😀
Vincent & Bob were the floating friendly droids... Bob being the one that was beaten up & rusty if I remember rightly! Didn't Bob sacrifice himself in the end to allow everybody else to escape?
Maximillian was the red sentry droid type with the spinning blade hands. _________________ Keep calm & I don't know... Fly casual! |

Wow. It's been since fifth grade since I've seen the film. I don't even remember it, really. I'd have to see if I can find a copy somewhere. _________________ __________________________________

caught the last hour or so on Disney or something a few years ago. Had been many years before that since the last time I'd seen it. _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

If someone can deDisneyfy their appearance (starting with Vincent and Bob's caroonish "photoreceptors"), then I could maybe see these existing in the SWU. _________________ *

If inserted in the SW Universe, I see VINCENT & BOB as type 4 security droids with intentionally friendly and unthreatening appearances, intended for interacting with children. _________________ "Yes because killing the guy you always planned on usurping and killing anyways in order to save your own kid, totally atones for murdering a roomful of innocent trusting children." That looks like a cross between V.I.N.C.E.N.T. and Eric Cartman... _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.
