Think i am getting confused with terminology.
Template, i thought was generic out line of a char.
Character can be made with our without a template.
So when i talked about making a template I was talking about a generic char outline. When I was talking about a char it was a specific char.
Of course the layout of a char record is also a template |

I think the confusion can be quickly cleared up:
Template: is a broadly fleshed out archetype. Typically all that is required to make it playable is the player adding 7D to skills. Sometime additional things needed to be figured out like special abilities for species or Force powers.
Character: Refers to a character that is ready to play. _________________ Don Diestler

When i was trying to make a Verpine archetype template i was getting confused with some of the questions it just took me a while to find the reason. |
