I mean I know they had a somewhat real military with rank and division - but were soldiers considered to be on/off mission/leave/duty?
I know they would be given missions but were they ever given leave? |

Like with any military, they would have had to give some sort of leave, even if just so rebels can go see family members, or to get 'down time to relax from each and every mission.

The Darkstryder explecitly states that the crew of the FarStar is given shore leave on occasion.
I think they mention it in the X-wing books too.

| They would have to be given leave to keep up moral, but the troops would have to be very careful about where it is done. Most likely it would be done on an alliance safe world or a friendly planet such as Alderaan before it went boom. |
