Hey all.
I want to find stats for the Arquitens Cruiser. Here is the Wookieepedia on it:http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Arquitens-class_light_cruiser#cite_note-Grievous_Intrigue-1
I think it is a beautiful ship, but I would change a few things about it - namely, the number of turbolaser batteries. The article says 4, but the picture looks like 6. I would even say it has two turbolaser batteries and 4 double-turbolasers, according to this: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/pedrocon/SW-CloneWars/Arquitens/arquitens.jpg
I think the space rating should be 6 or 7 with a maneuverability of 2D+1, since it is supposedly faster and more nimble than the Venator.
I would size it about 450 m according to this picture: http://media.moddb.com/images/mods/1/12/11094/EAW_20110710_00444548.jpg
It seems about half the size of the Venator.

While I like the ship as well, I think you oversized this one. From the SWTCW shots I have seen it should be around 120N-130M max, as it is near the same size as a Consular class, right down to the drive configuration.
Like the Consular class it was I minimal crew capital ship. intended to be support or boarding quick strike capable. The skeleton crew left on during one episode was 3 clones. |

If the smaller numbers are accurate, calling this ship a cruiser is a mistake. It's more analogous to a corvette. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. I AGREE HEARTILY its more a Corvette or lighter frigate in function... crmcneil.......
And well lotsa things are called "Cruisers" in SW but are Technicallly NOT EVEN CLOSE, but thats what the info we have says anyways for name, Guardian Class Customs Cruisers come to mind...... YMMV on...... However _________________ The Empire: We'z Ownz ALL yer'z Star Destoyerz!!! |
