Well, I got word from WEG that they're allowing me to be an Official Demo Guy for 'em and their D6 System (YAY!), and I'm currently working on the game I'm going to run.
Neither are Star Wars (I apologise), but it's D6 and might fall under our collective ideas of what to do, eh? Maybe?
So far, I have two games in mind.
Using the D6 Adventure system (Wild West to Near Future): "A Snowball's Chance". A pilot finds a derilict Freighter (HMCS Snowball III, out of Montreal) in the Caribean while flying around for fun, and gets a crew together to salvage it. They find, however, that it's being used as a base of operations by a Crew of Modern Pirates, as well as some "Other" items (Supernatural? Monster? Cultists? Don't know yet.).
Using the D6 Space system (Sci-Fi and Space Opera): "Dominion Superlegal Runaround". The PCs are a crew on a Space Freighter on it's way to the planet Dominion, when their Captain dies of natural causes. What they didn't know was that he was smuggling cargo for the Organized Crime family on Dominion, and the investigation turns it up. They're arrested, and interrogated by the Police and Customs officials when the station they're at is attacked by a Goon Squad. The PCs have to clear their name, prevent themselves from being killed by the Police or the Family, or just get off the planet in one piece.
Whatta think? |

Sounds nice, wish I could play it. It could be adapted to star Wars real easy too. |

Congrats, Ray! That's very cool! I like the sound of those adventures too, especially the second one. _________________ "Mind what you have learned. Save you it can." --Yoda

I'm going to try and make it one of the "Official" demo games, but, failing that, I'll post it here for your viewing enjoyment. |
