First galaxy guide 8 is a must have. Second is the type of adventures, mostly new worlds and meeting new aliens. Third is adventure hooks, hyperdrivre breaks down now its time verses consumables, needed parts scavenged from other parts of the ship. Blazing new hyperspace routes (runs) for shipping to the new raw material mining sites that have just made you very fabulously rich. _________________ "EXECUTE ORDER 67. You need to be able to make (or have ready) forgotten civilizations, supertech installations, forgotten Sith tombs, and so on. You should look up the Kwa / Kwi and their Infinity Gates, perhaps look into Vuffi Raa, the Gree, the Aing-Tii, the Rakata and their Infinite Empire, and probably re-watch the Indiana Jones movies. Just, you know, for research and stuff.
You could also look at the Esh-Kha introduced in Star Wars: The Old Republic for examples on how to introduce new story elements, and perhaps also the Nightmare Pilgrim if you want ideas on how to introduce more Lovecraftian elements.
If you've looked around on Reddit's SpeculativeEvolution subreddit, you can also have grabbed all sorts of interesting creatures to have ready or improvise on. The Worldbuilding subreddit can help you with maps over landmasses and so on.
Also have a handful of new solar systems laying about, with a few 'points of interest' there. GG8, the Scout Galaxy Guide, has a planetary system generation tool if memory serves. The system itself doesn't matter much - whether you use something for Stars Without Number, or GURPS, what is important is that you have a few up your sleeve as it were, just in case. |

One tool I like to use is a random system generator found here:

There's other generators on this site you might find useful as well, but this one is specifically aimed at Star Wars d6. _________________ Never tell me the odds! |
