A droid engineer is attempting to fix a droid that took a kill shot. According to Cynabar's Fantastic Technology supplement it requires an (A) Droid Engineering roll of Difficult.
Does this mean that only the (A) Droid Engineering dice should be used to make that Difficult roll.
In this example the Technician has the following:
6D Droid Repair
4D (A) Droid Engineering.
Does he combine the dice pools as he would making a repair roll (10D), or does he just roll the 4D to attempt the difficult roll? _________________ "Maximum firepower!"

If the book calls for an advanced skill roll, then it would just be the 4D. Essentially, on a kill shot, you're not "repairing" the droid, you're rebuilding it with junk parts. |

Yup. When doing anything that just calls for the (A) skill itself, that is all you roll. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
