Ok, I have most of the adventures, and I got tapped to run a demo game at one of the local game stores. I DO NOT have time to write something from scratch (given that its FRIDAY >eep<)
I really want to give players a good feel for the game, so what do you guys recommend as a good starting place for 4-7 players who've never picked up the game before? I want to get players excited about the game.
Both Starfall & Black Ice jump to mind, I've run both before so I'm familiar with them. (though that was a long long time ago in a high school far, far away)
I think the Tramp Freighters campaign is interesting, and a popular setting, but that one kind of needs to build with time, and doesn't set up the Good vs. Evil dynamic right away that gets people excited.

The Intro box set has a nice little 6 part that includes scale, walkers, fighters and lots of stormies. It also helps the players get comfy with the dice mechanic fairly well and its forgiving compared yo some other adventures. |

Another possibility (if you have it) is the Instant Adventures book, which has some excellent, smaller adventures. I had a great hit one time at a con running one called "Heavy Lifting" from it.
"Starfall" is great, but my concern would be that it would tough to pull off more than just a section of it in the allotted time. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |
