Haven't read the Rebel Alliance Sourcebook in a while, but I assume Mon Cals, along with space stations, mines, and a host of starfighters. _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

Well the shipyards of Mon Calamari is a space station that makes an entire ring around the planet. These are mostly shipyards. I assume that the majority of the defense would be ships, with a few stations, mines, ship platforms and planetary defenses. _________________ Don Diestler

Depends on exactly what timeframe, too. While eventually they surrounded the whole planet, the Empire took them over for a time. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

I could see them having a mon cal version to the Golan space defense platforms.. Similar stats, just 'looking a lot different. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I was thinking about Golans, but I like your idea better, Garhk _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

Not that it's EU canon, but one time in a library's children books section I looked a Star Wars pop-up book and Calamari had Sluissi shipyard technology, suggesting a joint venture between the two species (or they just repurposed existing WEG Thrawn Trilogy sourcebook material). I like Sluissi and Mon Calamari. I thought they are both serene peoples that view shipbuilding as an art form, so I liked the joint-venture idea. _________________ *
