This site has tons of generators:

The tavern one provides hours of fun:

You have to do some converting for Star Wars, but these generators are very helpful. _________________ "I find your lack of pants disturbing." |

Chaotic Shiny is a great site.
I've gotten some use out of her generators in my D&D and Pathfinders games.
She shares the code for some of her generators, maybe someone could whip up something more Star Wars appropriate . |

What an amazing site! Thanks so much for sharing this, Matt, as I'd never seen it before! 8) _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

I particularly like the job and freight generators. For instance the first result it spit out was:
"A Diplomat (level 1), Steerage (20 cr/day, 200/journey), to Outer Rim"
I mean that just screams plot hook, why is a diplomat booking steerage passage to the outer rim? Maybe his meager passenger space only needs to be big enough for him and his bag of embezzled credits on cred sticks, a secret trade treaty with a mining colony, some kind of local trouble, avoiding imperial entanglements?
