I'm playing in a game soon and we ran a quick test scenario, just to make sure everyone had the basics down. It quickly became apparent that there were quite a few tables that we needed to keep flipping around to.
Anyhow, I would like to ask the much more experienced folk here as to what references you all think are most important to have handy for R&E. |

The 2e book had a really handy reference page at the back of the book; the references would all be the same for R&E, with the exception of the scale rules. _________________ Hotaru no Hishou; a messageboard about games, friends and nothing at all.

Which charts are you on about? Damage charts? Skill difficulties for repairs? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Well, the GM thought we should do a quick "You're meeting a contact in a warehouse, but the Rodian's late. Suddenly, Stormtroopers!" thing so that we could make sure we had things down.
I know that the difficulty numbers need to go on this cheat sheet, as well as what range is what difficulty and the wound table.
Damage charts are a definite thing to include, I think.
Edit: Having dug out the book, the 2e Charts and Tables pages are pretty much what I wanted. Although... it looks like it's not just the scale, but also the command chart that was changed. |

The things that were on the first two pages of my cheat sheet were the difficulty numbers for Very Easy, Easy, Moderate, etc; character damage chart, starship damage chart, healing rolls, and scale modifiers. They just wound up being the things I had to look up the most when I was a newbie GM. _________________ __________________________________

Looking for a good cheat sheet/GM screen then I offer up Hisham's freakin awesome contribution. The first page has everything you need for 95% of what you want to do in the game and it can be printed off on a single sheet of paper. LINK. _________________ Don Diestler

While those are great, I've found the simplest of documents to be what I need 95% of the time. It's a simple Player's Information Sheet that can be printed out on only two sheets of paper. I take mine and put them back to back in a hard plastic page holder, and reference it far more often than I do my rulebook, my GM screen, or any of my other 'cheat sheets'.
[Edit: For some reason this forum won't post this as a url, so copy and paste the following (rather than clicking on it) and you should be able to view it]:

Sweet! Thank you very much. That first page is pretty much what I was looking for.

This, however, goes above and beyond what I was looking for.
The only thing that prevents me from using it, I think, is that it looks like you're running with some alternate rules for stun weapons? (I probably wouldn't have noticed that, except that I happened to be looking them up last night, contemplating a secret ion weapon for my spoiled brat with a droid caretaker. I decided that that wasn't quite the character or relationship I was trying for though.) |

Thanks for reposting the link, Ty. For whatever reason (some setting on these forums, I imagine), I wasn't able to make a normal link to it.
@Gadora: I didn't actually make it, it's something that was passed along to me by another player. Good catch on the Stun info, as I hadn't realized that was somebody's custom rules (fortunately I've never used it off this chart). I'll have to line that part out on my copy!
@SWR: I didn't make the chart, and it's a bit less comprehensive than the full GM screen. I find that it covers the vast majority of things you did in play, though, and the rules and/or GM screen can give you the rest pretty easily. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |
