Two questions:
1) If an PC or NPC is hit, do they lose their attack or they still get to move. I was a bit confused on this.
2) Everyone that is hit, say by a blaster, must roll a strength check to see how hard they were hit?
Thanks for dealing with me, but I never was the GM, and its been like 20 years since I played.

Ok, here we go.
1) Not if they are not wounded or stunned. If stunned they suffer a -1D penalty (its not losing an attack/action) for 1 round. If wounded they fall down and also suffer a -1D penalty until healed.
2) The attacker rolls the weapon damage, the victim rolls STR + any armour to resist it. _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

I thought 1st ed was like 2nd, in that if you take a wound you lose all remaining actions for the round. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Ah, what i meant with falling down. You are prone until end of round and then have -1d until healed. _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

No I think he was asking about if you take wound you lose remaining actions... nothing about falling down. |
2nd Ed Rev. page 97
Quote: | Wounded characters fall prone and can take no
actions for the rest of the round. The character suffers
a penalty of -1D to skill and attribute rolls until he heals
(through medpacs or natural rest). |
1st Ed. Page 14
Quote: | A wounded character falls prone and cant do anything for the rest of the combat round |
Note that in 1st ed. Stunned characters also falls prone and cant do anything for the rest of the round. _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |
