I've been looking around, but not finding anything about this. Are there rules for fighting swarms? For example fighting a swarm of paralyzing locust. My thought would be similar to GURPS from the idea that there is minimum damage done to the swarm from non-area weapons and when folks are in the swarm there are mutual auto-hits.

Anyone done this type of things before? Thanks.

The only RPG rules I have seen for Swarms were in D&D, which treated the swarm as a single being with specific stats. I don't have access to my books at the moment, but check the Monster Manuals for D&D 3.0 or 3.5; the stats should be in there somewhere.

Pick up the "D6 Fantasy Creatures" book, it has a couple pages on swarms in it. The rules might need a little modification to fit flawlessly with Star Wars D6, but it should get you really close to what you need.

One of our Sparks modules has rules for a "bug" swarm so i will see if i can find it for ya.
