dropping a line to you all to invite you to take a look at the new D6 Holocron wiki that i have been putting together. ive been working on this site for a few months now with the help of a few to put together a one stop shop for all of the D6 Star Wars information. right now im hopeing to only have the stock WEG and converted Wizards information entered for easy access and browsing. later i will be working on the custom and fan based information/options.
also i have set aside a small area for story line information that i hope will be available for all of your games and archiving the information for history of the players. please visit the D6 Holocron at http://d6holocron.wikia.com/wiki/D6_Holocron_Wiki
i do hope to see you all there soon.

Thanks for setting up the wikki. I can see that you've put a lot of work into this one.
Somewhat reminiscent of Vong's database, if I'm not mistaken. _________________ __________________________________

Very cool... what about posting all known rules and vehicle stats in the website? I know it's a HUGE amount of work and I know that it's potentially copyright infringement BUT let's face the truth, there's plenty of time and SW D6 is a (commercially) dead game... (and you can find whatever you want already on the net)...
Oh, also, what about posting an updated GM Screen on the rancor Pit Menu?
Cheers! |

It seems like it would be good to include a "Source" entry - whether it's a WEG, WotC, Gry PDF, etc. source. |

Well.... that sounds easy enough at first glance, but there are stats that have all three of those sources (if not more). _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

Right Jmanski, but few good things are easy, right?
Just one official WEG source, or one non-official source, would be helpful. But, like you're saying, that's easy for someone to say who doesn't have to do the work! |

I guess I don't see the need or reason for a source neccessarily. It could come in handy, but is it worth extra work for it? _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

Especially if it's fan-based. Some GMs only allow canon material in their games. |

Thanks for all the information here. Tried to take this game up about 5 years ago just didn't have the time too. Hopefully this time around I will. So thanks for all the D6 conversions from the D20 and the files on 4share. They will help tremendously! |

Anyone know what happened to the Holocron? Tried to go there a couple times this week and all I get is a general error message saying the website is not available. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation.
