				| I am pleased to announce that the following members have been promoted to the level of moderator:
 cheshire
 jmanski
 vanir
 vong
 Whill

I would like to thank all of them for agreeing to be moderators here on the forums. Please give them all the respect they deserve and help them out in this new endeavor. These forums have always been very civil and "low drama", not really needing much moderating. Every once in a while, things may get a little out of hand and some feathers ruffled, so these fine gentlemen will be helping me keep an eye on things so that these forums remain the great place we've all come to know and love.

Here are the general guidelines that I had posted for the forums that they will be helping me enforce:

  	  | Quote: | | Respect the views of others.

Try to see things from others' point of view.

 Respectfully state why you disagree.

Agree to disagree and move on.

Do not flame others or attack them personally. Statements like "that's a stupid idea" or "wow, where did you come up with that??" could be much better stated with something like "well I disagree with you, but that's ok".

Basically, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Again, this is meant to be a community for people to get together, share ideas and stories, and help each other enjoy the game we all love. If you're about to post something and your post doesn't further those objectives, please refrain from posting.

 |

So please join me in thanking them for taking on this new responsibility and please give them all your respect and support.

 Thanks!
 Loc

				| So, if these are the moderators, are we going to have anti-moderators as well? _________________

Would it be bad if I nominated you for anti-moderator?

Not at all. An objective view of my past behavior on the forum would indicate that I am well qualified for the post.

That does flow off the tongue easier...

				| So... do we nominate, then vote? What's the procedure for electing Immoderators? _________________

Acclamation. Everyone who thinks they have a candidate, just shout it out and then we see how many votes they get.
