Is/Are there any official publications that provide resources for high-level wargaming in the SW universe? Miniatures Battles (I've only flipped casually through it) looks like pretty low-level, skirmish-type wargaming, but I'm interested in larger scale operations -- perhaps along the lines of multiple regiments or even corps, or squadron-level up for space battles.
I know that some people have adapted Full Thrust to the SW universe, but that's not what I am interested in right now. |

I've heard Star Warriors works well, but I've never seen or used it. For the huge engagements I usually just story it or have the party's actions be a part of the battle. |

You might check out this thread. Rollenspiel, even though there's no info about official rules.
atgxtg came up with some brilliant ideas, though it's again more 'house rules' than something official. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

Thanks for the thread. I took the time to reread Imperial Sourcebook which has organisational data for the Empire, being a great starting-point, but I fear I may have to take some historical wargaming books I've got and rewire it to suit my Star Wars craving for big engagements.
Most historical miniatures wargaming is what I would call mid-level (regiments of foot, squadrons of horse, batteries of artillery), but I'm interested in sweeping scale with multiple corps embracing many star systems, or even a sector. I'm talking big-honking-charts and logistical management! It surprises me that the Powers That Be hadn't written anything like this before. |

I'm cool with sharing atgxtg's detailed rules, once I get them all compiled (there's so much there it's in like six emails), if he's cool with it.
I think he's come up with some brilliant stuff that could really help the community, but want his permission first before sharing it. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |
