In a recent post, thedemonapostle mentioned having some difficulty searching for various ships using the Forum's Search function. His comment got me thinking about the possibility of a Stat Archive for completed projects. The various topic threads would still be open for discussion, but, suppose the stat creator reached the point where he felt he had learned enough from the discussion that he could tweak the stat exactly how he liked it? A stat archive would provide an easily accessible location on the forum to post that finished stat (be it a piece of equipment or a house rule) without having to slog through every post on the Search page looking for it.

I like the idea.
Even starting a thread (Stickied) and keeping a list of links to the thread(s) in question might be helpful.
Something like:
Ship A:
Link
Ship B:
Link
Ship C:
Link A
Link B
etc.
No matter how you go about it, its going to be a LOT of work to get things put together, even if its fairly low maintenence to maintain/update once its complete. |

Maybe if it was a simple template that allowed people to do their own work... _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.
