Just got back from playing SW at Marcon in columbus.. Was asked several times if i knew how much/what they gave for forger kits and disguise kits..
Also whether they had a limit on # of uses before you need to 'restock' them up.
Anyone know if any book has them? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I've got a character playing around with Disguise right now, so I'm really curious to hear if there's anything official about this as well. He also does a bit of forging. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

From the Equipment Stats book pg118:
Disguise Kit
Type: Typical disguise kit
Skill: Con: disguise
Cost: 500
Availability: 2, R
Game Notes: This kit contains an easily hidden voicedistorter,
prosthetics, pigments, and contact lenses. It
allows humanoids to pass for a member of some other
humanoid species of similar size, adding a +1D bonus to
any con: disguise skill rolls.
Source: Coruscant and the Core Worlds (page 125),
Ultimate Adversaries (pages 155-156)
So it looks like D20 had rules for them, and they were converted over, nothing about uses though.
Also, Galladinium’s Fantastic Technology pages 95-96 has the Flesh Camouflage equipment which mentions costs per use of contact lenses and such for that kit.

Did either of those books listed for that 'kit' converted from D20 list how many uses it gave? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

The listing in Ultimate Adversaries did actually have more copy:
Disguise Kit
Cost: 500
This kit contains cosmetics, hair dye, colored contact lenses, facial prosthetics, and props. A disguise kit is exhausted after 10 uses (refills cost 400 credits each).
For 10 times the cost, an advanced disguise kit including a microcomputer and laser engraver can be purchased. It is capable of producing falsified fingerprints and even a fake retina pattern on contact lenses. The computer must have access to an individual's medical or security records to fake their identifying characteristics.
Now, I adjusted the costs (kit and refills) to match the listing in the Equipment Stats book, the Ultimate Adversaries actually lists cost as 250 and refill 200, whereas Coruscant book lists 500 as the price.
