So I've decided to use a ship called the Chimaerus for my group. It was designed/built by Ryan Wolfe at 0-hr.com.
It was mostly built with Starfinder in mind I think but it has everything I'm looking for in a ship for this group... and quite a bit more really.
I really wanted a "modular" ship like the Ghost from Rebels without being TOO MUCH like the Ghost. This also gives me access to great floor plans and tokens for the virtual table top, plus the option for an actual miniature for when we get to meet in person again.
So I've been doing research on Star Wars ships of similar sizes and have discovered that there seems to be little rhyme or reason for things like "How many weapons should a ship of a particular size have?" The weapon loadouts are all over the map! My plan is to start with a low number of weapons and let them work their way up, but I want to have an idea too of just how far it could potentially go.
Is there any resource that walks you through creating ship stats for D6? _________________ -Daemoro

Hey Daemoro
There is a site called http://d6.ironsind.com/ShipGen/shipgen.php that had a full D6 ship construction system that you just put in the numbers
from lists and it gave you the ship stats in standard WEG format at the end.
It seems to have a sucky glitch that won't accept input on the first section now though.
However, you can get the PDF text version here
http://krapz.free.fr/data/Starships_Pricing.pdf
It's a bit of a slog, but it at least gives you a base system to work from.
I should add that I think Grimace from this site created the system. |

Thank you both for the responses. I will see what I can come up with. I just hope they enjoy the work I'm putting in... and not just try to trade this for a YT-1300 _________________ -Daemoro

I forgot whom it was, but i remember someone doing some sort of math, to find out how many weapons someone can put on a ship, without overloading its power generators... _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
