Grimace and myself are nearing completion of a Choose Your Own Adventure style adventure. Both of us have been having a lot of fun working on our current story and we're already looking forward to working on the next one.
Since we are within a few days of completing our first story, we thought it would be fun to see what kind of ideas everyone else has.

Jewel thief or bounty hunter adventure. IMO they would be the easier ones to adapt for single player. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I put those ideas up as some examples of what we can do next. I figured that it would make a good way to gague both the interest in stories like this, and to get a feel for what kind of stories people seem interested in.
If you have any story ideas, please share them with us! |

I think those would all be good. The pilot one got my vote simply because in a large group of gamers, one may not get a lot of game play in the cockpit, whereas a one-player adventure could really focus on just being a pilot.
That being said, I would be interested in seeing any of those listed. |

Wildspace mercenary/pirate. We haven't done any privateering yet, but we might easily. "Capn' will take any job he can get, even legitimate ones." _________________ Or that excessively long "Noooooooooo" was the Whining Side of the Force leaving him. - Dustflier

I get a sudden urge to create a Quarren pirate called D'vy J'nzz _________________ -

But rather than being human or near human he should have a tail or something. Perhaps he could be a member of an aquatic Monkee-like species. Sort of a sea Monkee. |

I think he's referring to Pirates of the Carribean villain. When I fist saw him in the movie I thought Quarren too. | No, Quarren are squid like not monkey like. It was actually two jokes in one. Though possibly rather obscure jokes.
First joke - Davy Jones was a member of the 1960s American pop group The Monkees.
Second joke - in the back of comic books long, long ago there were adds for creatures called Sea Monkeys - I think they were brine shrimp. The ads always made them look like some cross between sea horses and mermen/mermaids. So sea+pirate+Davy Jones+Pop group
It may have been funnier in my head or perhaps you just had to be there (in the 60s that is). OK, OK, I won't give up my day job. |
