Does anyone have any special rules they use for racing? The reason I ask is because unlike starships (which go either 1 to 14 units at cruising speed), swoops speeders and pods can have a large difference between each others speed, ie. base speed of two speeder bikes might be 160 to 210. I am currently typing up some ideas for racing but i thought i'd ask if anyone already had come to this problem... thanks _________________ Drive It like you stole it...

I don't have any custom rules for racing, but I used to play a game called Top Secret/S.I. that had a gamemaster screen with some charts and info about car chases and crashes. Some of the info may be useful in converting to D6, or might at least get some creative juices flowing for you...

Good memory Ragnar.
Here's the thread I think Ragnar is referring to. _________________ "Mind what you have learned. Save you it can." --Yoda

That works pretty good! I think I'll incorporate it into the racing rules I've been writing down. I've been using a kinda Inidial D aproach, using Stages(ie. Stage 1: Easy terrain 230m, Stage 2: Moderate Terrain + fast 45 degree Left, 150m) depending on how fast they are going depends on how many rolls they have to make per round, if they can cover 380m in a round they would have to roll piloting checks for both stages. Its been working so far. _________________ Drive It like you stole it...
