Inspired by E.C. Henry & Ansel Hsiao, i've begun doodling & redesigning the Original Class-C Frigate, as it was in Republic service in the Clone Wars & later the Empire.
I'll be looking to the functionally similar Nebulon-B Frigate as presented in The Far Orbit Project. Then when i have my baseline Class-C, create & stat out the variants in my SWU/SWM, those in Imperial service & others...
I imagine Separatist Holdouts strip down ships they capture to patch up their main ships, thus starting the trend soon adopted by the Rebellion..

Sorry about that; the 1st image wasn't showing up, so i had used an alternate link for the 1st image, & forgot to remove the original, which is working now...
i blame the all-day headache.
i edited out the now redundant link.
It's almost Christmas & the forecast is a nightmare, so no promises as to when i'll have the fore & aft views.
