In many films, tv shows and sometimes IRL we see that someone who has 'appropriate music' actually does better (or did better) than someone who didn;'t. Such as the hero of the Iron eagle film. Can't hit shi( on that targetting range till he popped in Queen.
So how would you see something like this for a sw game? Would you even see it? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Psychological quirk, perhaps? Character receives a +1D to all Mechanical skills if his playlist is on, but a -1D if it's off. It's purely mental, but if it has a demonstrable effect on the character's performance in action, then it is quantifiable and thus convertible into a D6 value. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. The closest I've ever come to statting such a thing would be in the WoD system where I had developed a 'Theme Song' merit and a character who had a theme song could recover spent willpower when listening to it. _________________ Don't waste money on expensive binoculars.

Thats what i was thinking.
Music playing, say +1d. +2d if this specific song (hard to get, banned)..
No music - roll skill as is.
Silence - -1d. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I like the +1D with music; -1D without music better.
After all during space combat true silence would be almost unheard of. |
